The environment you live in can have a huge impact on your health!
Though not really that much of a profound statement on my part as I think we all know how much housing conditions, diet, good sanitation, access to healthcare and education can influence both our physical and mental well being.
But what you may not be so aware of is how much those elements of our modern life which we feel gives us that state of well being can actually be creating underlying health issues.
When I work with clients in the Practice I see the same types of disturbances cropping up time and time again, even when the person concerned is making every effort to look after their health as much as possible. Frustrating from their point of view but interesting from mine! Why? Well these recurring issues (which affect me too), and which it seems so hard to avoid completely, give us a real indication of the current state of our environment as they represent those things in the world we live in, the food we eat and the air we breathe that are so prevalent it’s just about impossible to avoid being affected by them
So what types of disturbances am I talking about?
Well EMFs for a start, the harmful electromagnetic frequencies from mobile phones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. which are now so widespread that they would quite literally form a fog around us constantly if we could see them. But also add to the mix increasing levels of pollution, chemicals in the food we eat and the products we use, and perhaps more worryingly, growing numbers of persistent bugs, bacteria and parasites who seem to be taking advantage of our weakened immune systems that result from the constant onslaught of disturbances we now experience. And the bad news (if this isn’t enough!) – the problem is getting worse! Year on year the number of these constant disturbances I find in clients seems to be increasing.
But it’s not all doom and gloom.
Whilst totally avoiding these disturbances seems so hard there is always something you can do and everything you do, however small, will help.
The key, as always, is to try and have good homeostatic balance in the body, the body’s own built in mechanism to keep itself healthy and therefore deal with these disturbances as they come along. So eat a good, low acidic diet with plenty of fresh, natural food, drink plenty of water, take moderate exercise, and keep stress to a minimum. But given the levels of disturbance around perhaps we now have to consider adding natural complementary therapies to our health routines as a way of providing much needed extra support to the body. The reason I love Bioresonance as a therapy, for instance, is its ability to deal with these disturbances so effortlessly and easily, especially those notoriously difficult ones including EMFs, pollution and chemicals which the body either struggles with, or in the case of EMFs, actually lacks the direct mechanisms to remove them itself.
So is it time we took a fresh look at how best to live in our modern world in such a way as to give our health the best protection we can, and take action accordingly?
Given what I see day on day, most definitely yes!
